Radnor A Better Chance Alumni
Steven Rogers, Class of ’75 was honored in November by being
inducted into the Radnor High School Hall of Fame.
Steve was one of the first scholars to join the Radnor ABC
program. He was from Chicago’s South Side which he says was very
different from Radnor. His host mom Teresa Brennan and her family
helped him with the transition and made him feel comfortable.
Steve was an honor student and all-league linebacker during his
years at Radnor High School, and then went on to graduate from
Williams College and Harvard Business School. Now the Gund Family
Professor of Entrepreneurship at Northwestern University, he has
long supported the “life-changing” efforts of Radnor ABC.
In addition to supporting our program Steve Rogers is also on the
board of directors for the National A Better Chance. Gil Palmer and
Dawn Joseph Palmer, two of Radnor ABC early graduates and friends
of his traveled from Indiana to share this special occasion with
Steve and his family.
